Since then, Orbi set-up a work cooperative, giving employees the opportunity to become partial owners of the company. Members of Orbi's administration team also became active on the boards of directors of the Quebec Construction Association (Metropolitan Region), the Joint Committee on Construction Materials, and the École des métiers de l'acier (Steel Construction Training Institute).

2005 brings the acquisition of new fabrication facilities in the U.S. to better serve area customers.
